visual studiesVisual Studies is a unique program where students will receive rigorous academic and hands-on instruction in the study of fine arts and film arts. Visual Studies majors will apply a variety of traditional and contemporary applications in both genres as they showcase their craft through festivals, exhibitions and live/recorded performances.

Film artsFilm Arts is a journey into conceptual thinking and the art of brilliant cinematography. Our goal is to inspire and motivate young filmmakers to write, direct, edit and produce motion pictures. Students will learn the craft of visual storytelling and be challenged to interpret and apply mood and emotion in a creative manner through industry standard film techniques and technology.

visual artsStudents in the Visual Arts program are introduced to a variety of visual experiences and art forms including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, technology and conceptual art. Students work from technical foundations through to the representational, expressive and conceptual forms of art making. The opportunity to curate and exhibit their work and to work with a variety of guest artists renowned in their field is an ongoing experience for students at all grade levels.
