Drama

The drama program includes training in interpersonal skills, awareness and communication. It also provides a special focus for students who may seek a career related to the performing arts. The curriculum concentrates on collective creation, acting techniques, improvisation, scene study, theatre production, playwriting, directing and staging methodologies within a historical and contemporary context. Students are provided with many opportunities to write, direct, produce and perform in theatrical presentations and performances for a variety of audiences. Outstanding guest artists are specially selected to provide both breadth and depth to the program.
