A big thank you goes out to the athletic council for putting on a fantastic show at the Bayview Golf & Country club last night. Congratulations as well to all of the athletes and coaches who have put in so much time and effort towards our program this year. This has been an incredibly successful year with our school winning nine championships and sending 14 students to OFSAA!

The big winners on the evening were as follows:

Junior Female Athlete of the year – Ana Kostic
Junior Male Athlete of the year – Jake Turcotte

Female Athlete of the year – Adrienne Sy
Male Athlete of the year – Taylor Kotwa

Coach of the year – Mr Sze

Team of the year – Ultimate Frisbee

Come out to see our senior boys basketball and senior girls volleyball teams on February 2nd and 3rd as they battle for North supremacy.

The fast and ferocious Haig basketball team takes on the always tough CW Jeffreys Saints on Wednesday February 2nd at 3:30 pm in the big gym in quarter final action.

On Thursday February 3rd at 3 pm, the undefeated senior girls volleyball team starts their march through the playoffs against the girls from Northview.

Thank you to those who participated in the Volleyball Intramurals this year! Congratulations to the Teacher Team who won the championships with a complete shut out throughout the whole tournament.
