School Opening Procedures

To ensure that you have a successful start to the 2010-2011 school year,
please review the information below:

STUDENT PACKAGE PICKUPS (in the Small Gym)

All Students should bring $50.00 to pay for your Student Fee which covers your
SAC card, TTC card, Student Agenda, Yearbook, extra-curricular activities and intramural programs, etc.
Claude Watson students have an additional $75.00 program upgrade fee due at the same time.
New students will require $10.00 for a lock.

NOW (Newcomer Orientation Week) Program- Running Tuesday Aug, 24th – Friday Aug. 27th

Upon receipt of full payment, you will pick up your Timetable and Student Agenda.
Grade 9’s Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 9:00 – 11:00 am.
& any new students to EHSS
(Orientation program that includes tour of the school)
Grade 10’s Monday, August 30th, 2010 1:30 – 3:00 pm.

The Claude Watson Arts Program proudly announces Earl Haig S.S. was selected from over a thousand high schools from across the United States and Canada to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2011.

As part of the American High School Theatre Festival, our vision is to create an original Canadian multi-disciplinary, multi-media theatrical production based on the imagination and skill of our actors, dancers, musicians, singers, filmmakers, designers and technicians. This will be an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students to experience what it means to build an authentic touring company, to collectively create a work of performance art and to perform on the world stage.

We seek additional students grades 9 -12 to join our ensemble both onstage and off. You’re invited to join us if you are creative, committed, love new adventures, and have what it takes to make this work.
