    - enter the username and password specified on p14 of your EHSS Planner
    - In the search box, type:  ELO1065690
    - Choose Activity #1 “Is it a Fact or Opinion”
    - Select the “Content” tab
    - Read the instructions and answer the blanks on your worksheet (define fact vs. opinion)
    -  Play the game “Is That a Fact?
  • Examine the databases specified on the worksheet and look at the “about us” or “help” or “more info on this product” sections to browse their unique features (these are accessible from home but you will need the passwords located in your EHSS Planner.

  • SIRS
  • CPI.Q.
  • Canadian Encyclopedia
  • Using the Canadian Points of View database, find an article on a “hot topic” in Canadian or world politics from a Canadian news source.
  • Record the source information at the top of your sheet in the space provided.
  • Email the article to yourself.
  • Read the article all the way through and list the opinions and facts listed (refer back to your definition of the fact vs. opinion.
